there is a reset procedure that can be done diagnostics tools (VCDS/OBDEleven) to make it go away immediately.. otherwise it can take a while for it to go away on its own.. at one point in time a diagnostic tool was required but they reversed that with software pretty quickly.. that reset procedure also calibrates the internal level sensor.
